Diva In The Caribbean -Embracing Culture

Welcome to Elle's Happy Mid-Week Happy Hour! The Diva of the Carribean... How is the week so far?  It is holy week, and some are camping out, and others like me, will just be chilling and enjoying the beauty of the Island.  Well this past week-end, this Diva had a wonderful time.  Concert at Fort Fredrik, in Frederiksted., with Dion Parson and the 21st Century Band.  St. Croix's Big Band, and local musicians, and singing.    Then on Saturday, was the Moko Jumbie exhibit, at the Steeple Museum in Christiansted.  Great exhibit, great work by all local artists.  Exhibit a must see. And then Sunday was,  ZUMBA , fantastic . Had a blast, and I feel good.  Had to rub down with my friend Bengay, but hey, I had a good workout.  Of course all my Diva friends were there, and my ZUMBA instructors, Evelyn, Sonsirez, Diane. DIVA IN THE CARIBBEAN

I call this my Happy Hour Spot .  As I come here to share my feelings of the week.  So sit back, have a Cruzan Rum drink , or a glass of wine and lets talk. Its Wednesday and its another beautiful day here in the Virgin Islands.  Do not know about you but lately a friend of mine and a few other people I have been talking too have been dealing with powerful emotions.  That in itself can be challenging.  Sometimes we are dealing with sickness, bad experiences in our life, or just simply thinking about the state of our economy.  I know so well it can be over whelming.  Some of us tend to bottle up and suppress our emotions and keep it all inside.  Then there are some of us who repress their feelings by denying them.
